History Behind the Diaper Drive

In 2022, Sloan and her mom spent their first afternoon helping to prepare food boxes in preparation for valley families to pickup at Nourish Phoenix. Afterwards, the team treated Sloan to a tour of the facility, where staff pointed out an area reserved for diapers to serve families with small children. Sloan asked, "Where are the diapers?," noticing the empty shelves. The Nourish Phoenix team shared that diapers were one of the items that runs out the fastest, due to their expense and the great demand from visiting families. On the way home Sloan said, "Mom, we should get some diapers and bring them back for Nourish Phoenix." That simple idea turned into a fun social media post, and an incredible response from Sloan's friends and family members. Sloan's Diaper drive was born. The team at Nourish Phoenix was so grateful that Sloan became determined to do it again the next year!

How the Drive Works

1. Friends, family, and neighbors give diapers directly through our Amazon Wish List, Target Wish List, Walmart Wishlist, or ask Sloan to pickup at their home.
